Tenants should follow the below steps for a smooth exit:


Moving With a Final Bill

1.  Request for a final bill - Send an email to finalbill@alhamrautilitybilling.com, preferably 3 to 4 working days in advance.

2.  Pay the final bill - Final bills have to be paid in full.  Ensure that you have the wordings 'Final Bill Cleared' on the receipt.

3.  Exit - The security team will allow for an exit only if the final bill payment receipt is produced.

NB:
  • Please note that the billing team does not operate on Fridays and Saturdays and hence ensure you complete steps 1 and 2 in advance. However, payments can be made at the AHRE billing counter.
  • There is no disconnection of utilities after final bill/moveout unless requested by the owner.

Moving Without a Final Bill

If in case a resident needs to move furniture and other things from the unit before issuance of a final bill:

a. Get a written approval from the owner allowing the move without a final bill. This approval needs to be sent to billing@alhamrautilitybilling.com and we will then inform security of the same. If the owner is AHRED or the unit is managed by AHRED, please get the approval from the Property Management team at the reception of the AHRED Office.

b. The total current outstanding amount must be cleared and an advance payment is required of at least 50% of the last invoice issued, or as advised by Billing Department. The advance payment will be deducted from the amount of the final bill to be issued.

This can be done by sending an e-mail of the move out to billing@alhamrautilitybilling.com informing them about the move out, the team will then inform you the amount to be paid. On confirmation of payment, the Billing Department will then inform the Security to allow the movers.

It is advised to complete this process at least 24 hours prior to the movers coming to the service gate.

NB: 
  • Please note that the billing team does not operate on Fridays and Saturdays and hence ensure you complete the process in advance. However, payments can be made at the AHRE billing counter during the working hours on saturday.
  • There is no disconnection of utilities after a final bill/moveout unless requested by the owner.
